Transliteration:( Fa aghwainaakum innaa kunnaa ghaaween )
"And we misled [33] you, for we, ourselves, had gone on the wrong way."
This statement from the leaders of disbelief reveals their confession:
“We were already misguided, and so the only thing we could offer you was misguidance.”
It’s a powerful analogy —
“Only heresy was available from us. So why did you come to us?”
Just as a mango cannot be obtained from an acacia tree, one should not expect truth or guidance from people who are themselves astray.
