Transliteration:( Summa aghraqnal aakhareen )
"Then We drowned [82] the others."
This verse refers to the divine retribution that followed after the salvation of Prophet Nuh (عليه السلام) and the believers. Allah declares that "We drowned the others", meaning:
All those who rejected the message—the disbelievers among his nation—were engulfed in the flood. None of them survived.
This verse also follows a sequence of narrative, where each event is presented in order: first the call, then the salvation of the believers, and then the punishment of the rejecters. The use of "then" underscores the deliberate and just unfolding of divine action.
