Transliteration:( Wa taraknaa 'alaihi fil aakhireen )
"And We left a good [114] name for him in all successive generations."
This verse shows that preserving the remembrance of great events is a religious duty.
The Eid-ul-Adha prayer, the ritual of sacrifice, and the Takbeer-e-Tashreeq during these days are all forms of honouring the legacy of Hazrat Ebrahim (peace be upon him).
Allah granted him a lasting and honoured name in every generation, making his obedience, sacrifice, and faith remembered and revered till the end of time.
