Transliteration:( 'A-izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaabanw wa 'izaaman 'a innaa lamadeenoon )
"What! When we will be rotten and become dust and bones, shall we then get the reward and punishment [53]?"
This verse conveys the sarcastic disbelief of the rejecter who questions the possibility of resurrection after the body has decayed into dust and bones.
It reflects the common argument of disbelievers, denying that any reward or punishment could occur after such physical deterioration—mocking the concept of life after death and the justice of the Hereafter.
