Transliteration:( Wa billail; afalaa ta'qiloon (section 4) )
"And by the night [139]. Why do they then have no wisdom?"
O people of Makkah! During your trade journeys, you pass by the ruins of these destroyed towns—day and night.
You witness the devastation of those who were once thriving but were punished due to their disobedience. Yet, you fail to take heed and learn a lesson from their fate.
This verse urges reflection: if past nations were destroyed for their sins, then how can you persist in disbelief without expecting similar consequences?
