28. This conversation will be between the leaders and their subservient infidels and not between the believers and the Prophets and the saints The Prophets and the saints will not be made to stand at the edge of Hell They will pass from it like lighting with their devotees Thus, the commentaries of the present day Wahabis are incorrectÂ
29. 18. The word yameen in Arabic is used for several meanings. It may mean use of the force, or well-wishing, or swearing of an oath. Accordingly, the verse would mean.
(1) You compelled us into following error and deviation.
(2) You deceived us by posing as our well-wishers.
(3) You swore oaths to satisfy us that what you were presenting was the very truth.
[1290]- i.e., from our position of strength, oppressing us. Or from where we would have grasped the truth, preventing us.
