Transliteration:( Qaalooo innakum kuntum taatoonanaa 'anil yameen )
"They will say [28]: 'Indeed, you used to approach us for misleading [29] us from the right side.'"
This conversation will occur between the leaders and their subservient infidels, not between the believers and the Prophets or saints.
The Prophets and saints will not be made to stand near the edge of Hell. Instead, they will pass by it swiftly, like lightning, along with their devoted followers.
Thus, the commentaries of present-day Wahabis that suggest otherwise are incorrect.
This means: “You used to compel us to commit infidelity using your physical strength and financial power.”
Here, the phrase “right side” refers to power, which includes both physical force and monetary influence (Tafseer Khazaainul Irfaan, Roohul Ma’ani).
From this we learn that a compelled infidel is still considered an infidel. Under compulsion, uttering words of disbelief is excused, but actually becoming an infidel is not permitted.

(37:28) (The followers will say to their leaders): “You used to come to us from the right hand”[18]
18. The word yameen in Arabic is used for several meanings. It may mean use of the force, or well-wishing, or swearing of an oath. Accordingly, the verse would mean.
(1) You compelled us into following error and deviation.
(2) You deceived us by posing as our well-wishers.
(3) You swore oaths to satisfy us that what you were presenting was the very truth.
[1290]- i.e., from our position of strength, oppressing us. Or from where we would have grasped the truth, preventing us.
