Transliteration:( Wa taraknaa 'alaihi fil aakhireen )
"And We left for him a good [78] name among later generations."
This verse signifies that after Prophet Nuh (عليه السلام), noble Prophets continued the mission of praising and glorifying Allah, carrying forward his legacy. Even today, his blessed name is remembered with reverence, showing that Allah honored him not only in his lifetime but in generations that followed.
This demonstrates that a righteous legacy and good remembrance after death is a mercy from Allah. Inspired by this, people strive to do things that ensure they are remembered for good after their demise—such as building mosques, digging wells, constructing bridges, establishing guest houses (Musafir Khanas), and authoring religious works.
May Allah accept such contributions, including the religious writings of scholars, and make them a means of salvation in the Hereafter. Aameen.
