    فَقُولَا لَهُۥ قَوۡلٗا لَّيِّنٗا لَّعَلَّهُۥ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوۡ يَخۡشَىٰ

    44. Then speak to him in gentle words [47], so that he may be mindful or he may have some fear [48].

    فَأَوۡجَسَ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ خِيفَةٗ مُّوسَىٰ

    67. Then Musa got a fear within himself.[83]

    قُلۡنَا لَا تَخَفۡ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

    68. We said, fear not that indeed you have the dominance[84],

    وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيّٗا وَصَرَّفۡنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلۡوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ أَوۡ يُحۡدِثُ لَهُمۡ ذِكۡرٗا

    113. And thus We have sent down the Quran in Arabic [158] and explained therein various ways of the torments so that they may fear or it may generate in their hearts some thinking.

    Surah Name : Ta-Ha   Surah Number : 20   Ayat Number: 113

    أَفِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَمِ ٱرۡتَابُوٓاْ أَمۡ يَخَافُونَ أَن يَحِيفَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ بَلۡ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

    50. Is there a disease in their hearts? Or do they fear that Allah and His Messenger will be unjust to them [134]? No, it is they who are the unjust ones [135].

    وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَيَخۡشَ ٱللَّهَ وَيَتَّقۡهِ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَآئِزُونَ

    52. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, fears Allah, and guards against evil, then indeed, they are the successful ones [137].

    يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ إِمَّا يَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِي فَمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰ وَأَصۡلَحَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ

    35.O Children of Adam! If Messengers come to you [75] from among you, reciting My signs to you, then whoever fears Allah and reforms [76], for them there is no fear, nor shall they grieve.

    أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقۡسَمۡتُمۡ لَا يَنَالُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِرَحۡمَةٍۚ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ لَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَآ أَنتُمۡ تَحۡزَنُونَ

    49.Are these the people [112] on whom you would swear that Allah would not bestow His Mercy? [113] It will be said to them: "Enter Paradise. No fear will be upon you, nor shall you grieve" [114].

    Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 49

    أَوَأَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا ضُحٗى وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ

    98. Or, do the people of the towns feel secure that Our punishment may come upon them during the day while they are playing [232]?

    Surah Name : Al-Araf   Surah Number : 7   Ayat Number: 98

    ۩ يَخَافُونَ رَبَّهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَيَفۡعَلُونَ مَا يُؤۡمَرُونَ

    50. They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded [104].

    Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 50

    ۞وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ إِلَٰهَيۡنِ ٱثۡنَيۡنِۖ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٞ وَٰحِدٞ فَإِيَّـٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ

    51. And Allah has said [105], "Take not two gods; He is only One God. So fear Me alone [106]."

    Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 51

    وَلَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلدِّينُ وَاصِبًاۚ أَفَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَتَّقُونَ

    52. And whatever is in the heavens and the earth [107] belongs to Allah, and obedience to Him is incumbent [108]. Will you then fear anyone other than Allah?

    Surah Name : An-Nahl   Surah Number : 16   Ayat Number: 52

    إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُم مُّحۡسِنُونَ

    128. No doubt, Allah is with those who fear Him and do good [284].

    وَأَنجَيۡنَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَكَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ

    53. And We rescued those who believed and used to fear [106].

    Surah Name : An-Naml   Surah Number : 27   Ayat Number: 53

    قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ

    11. The people of Pharaoh [Firaun]—will they not fear?

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 11

    قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ

    12. He (Moses) said, "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me."

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 12

    وَلَهُمۡ عَلَيَّ ذَنۢبٞ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقۡتُلُونِ

    14. And they have [17] a charge against me, so I fear they may kill me [18].

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 14

    إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    106. When their brother Nuh said to them, 'Do you not fear [109]?'

    Surah Name : Ash-Shuara   Surah Number : 26   Ayat Number: 106

    إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

    124. When their brother Hud said to them, "Do you not fear?" [125]

    وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

    132. And fear Him who has provided you with what you know.
