    إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ

    30.Except from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess, for they are not to be blamed [26].

    وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَأَخِيهِ

    12. And his wife and his brother.

    فَأَقۡبَلَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ فِي صَرَّةٖ فَصَكَّتۡ وَجۡهَهَا وَقَالَتۡ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٞ

    29.Then his wife came forward lamenting and struck her forehead and said: "What? I am just a barren old woman."

    Surah Name : Adh-Dhariyat   Surah Number : 51   Ayat Number: 29

    وَٱلَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمۡ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُواْ فَتَحۡرِيرُ رَقَبَةٖ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّاۚ ذَٰلِكُمۡ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِيرٞ

    3. And those who declare their wives as mothers [10], then wish to retract what they said [11], it is incumbent upon them to free a slave before they touch [12] each other. This is a warning for you, and Allah is All-Aware of what you do [13].

    Surah Name : Al-Mujadilah   Surah Number : 58   Ayat Number: 3

    ٱلَّذِينَ يُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنكُم مِّن نِّسَآئِهِم مَّا هُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِهِمۡۖ إِنۡ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱلَّـٰٓـِٔي وَلَدۡنَهُمۡۚ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنكَرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَزُورٗاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٞ

    2. Those among you who separate from their wives by declaring them as their mothers [6], they are not [7] their mothers. Their mothers are only those who gave birth to them [8]. And surely, they utter a hateful word and falsehood [9]. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving.

    Surah Name : Al-Mujadilah   Surah Number : 58   Ayat Number: 2

    وَإِن فَاتَكُمۡ شَيۡءٞ مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡكُفَّارِ فَعَاقَبۡتُمۡ فَـَٔاتُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ذَهَبَتۡ أَزۡوَٰجُهُم مِّثۡلَ مَآ أَنفَقُواْۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أَنتُم بِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنُونَ

    11. And if anyone from your wives goes away from the custody of believers to the infidels [43], then you punish the infidels. And give from the spoils of war [44] to those whose women have gone away, the like of that which they have spent (on such wives), and fear Allah in Whom you believe.

    Surah Name : Al-Mumtahanah   Surah Number : 60   Ayat Number: 11

    عَسَىٰ رَبُّهُۥٓ إِن طَلَّقَكُنَّ أَن يُبۡدِلَهُۥٓ أَزۡوَٰجًا خَيۡرٗا مِّنكُنَّ مُسۡلِمَٰتٖ مُّؤۡمِنَٰتٖ قَٰنِتَٰتٖ تَـٰٓئِبَٰتٍ عَٰبِدَٰتٖ سَـٰٓئِحَٰتٖ ثَيِّبَٰتٖ وَأَبۡكَارٗا

    5. It is possible that if he divorces [18] you, his Lord will give him in your place, wives better [19] than you, submissive, faithful, obedient, repentant, devoted [20] to prayer and fasting, whether widows or virgins [21].

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 5

    إِن تَتُوبَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ صَغَتۡ قُلُوبُكُمَاۖ وَإِن تَظَٰهَرَا عَلَيۡهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰهُ وَجِبۡرِيلُ وَصَٰلِحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَۖ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ ظَهِيرٌ

    4. If both of you (two wives) repent [13] to Allah, for your hearts have already deviated [14] from the path, but if you two conspire [15] against him, then indeed Allah is his Protector, and Jibraeel, and the righteous believers [16], and the angels [17] are his helpers.

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 4

    وَإِذۡ أَسَرَّ ٱلنَّبِيُّ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضِ أَزۡوَٰجِهِۦ حَدِيثٗا فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَتۡ بِهِۦ وَأَظۡهَرَهُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ عَرَّفَ بَعۡضَهُۥ وَأَعۡرَضَ عَنۢ بَعۡضٖۖ فَلَمَّا نَبَّأَهَا بِهِۦ قَالَتۡ مَنۡ أَنۢبَأَكَ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَ نَبَّأَنِيَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

    3. When the Prophet conveyed a piece of information in confidence [6] to one [7] of his wives, she disclosed [8] it to others, and Allah disclosed [9] it to the Prophet. The Prophet made known to her some part, and overlooked [10] some part thereof. And when he informed her of it, she said: "Who has informed [11] you of it?" He said: "The All-Knowing, the All-Aware has informed [12] me."

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 3

    يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَآ أَحَلَّ ٱللَّهُ لَكَۖ تَبۡتَغِي مَرۡضَاتَ أَزۡوَٰجِكَۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ

    1. O Prophet! Why do you prohibit [1] that which Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please [2] your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful [3].

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 1

    إِلَّا ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ قَدَّرۡنَآ إِنَّهَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَ

    60. Except his wife; We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind. [70]

    Surah Name : Al-Hijr   Surah Number : 15   Ayat Number: 60

    ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱمۡرَأَتَ نُوحٖ وَٱمۡرَأَتَ لُوطٖۖ كَانَتَا تَحۡتَ عَبۡدَيۡنِ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا صَٰلِحَيۡنِ فَخَانَتَاهُمَا فَلَمۡ يُغۡنِيَا عَنۡهُمَا مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـٔٗا وَقِيلَ ٱدۡخُلَا ٱلنَّارَ مَعَ ٱلدَّـٰخِلِينَ

    10.Allah sets out an example to the infidels [34] of the wife of Nuh and the wife [35] of Lut. They were both under two of Our righteous devotees, but they (the wives) betrayed [36] them. But nothing helped them against Allah, and it was said: "Enter both the fire [37] with those who enter it."

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 10

    وَضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱمۡرَأَتَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِذۡ قَالَتۡ رَبِّ ٱبۡنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيۡتٗا فِي ٱلۡجَنَّةِ وَنَجِّنِي مِن فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَعَمَلِهِۦ وَنَجِّنِي مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

    11. And Allah sets out for the believers an example [38] of the wife [39] of the Pharaoh when she said: "My Lord, build for me a house (40) with You in Paradise and deliver me from the Pharaoh and his misdeeds, and deliver me from the unjust (41) people."

    Surah Name : At-Tahreem   Surah Number : 66   Ayat Number: 11

    ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ أَنتُمۡ وَأَزۡوَٰجُكُمۡ تُحۡبَرُونَ

    70. Enter Paradise, you and your wives [122], joyfully and honourably [123],
