    Transliteration:( Fattakhaztumoohum sikhriyyan hattaaa ansawkum zikree wa kuntum minhum tadhakoon )

    110. Then you made them a laughing stock [150], until, in making them such, you forgot [151] My remembrance, and at them, you used to laugh. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (110) But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Mu’minun – Verse 110

    "Then you made them a laughing stock [150], until, in making them such, you forgot [151] My remembrance, and at them, you used to laugh."

    ✅ [150] Mockery of the Pious

    The disbelievers used to mock the righteous believers—ridiculing their prayers, humility, and sincerity—considering them naïve or backward.

    ✅ [151] Neglect of Divine Remembrance

    By constantly making fun of those close to Allah, they became indifferent and heedless—forgetting Allah’s remembrance entirely.

    This verse shows how habitual mockery can lead to arrogance and eventually result in complete spiritual neglect.
