Transliteration:( Wa Huwal lazee zara akum fil ardi wa ilaihi tuhsharoon )
"And it is He who has spread you in the earth [115] and to Him you are to be raised."
This verse highlights Allah’s power and wisdom in the creation and distribution of mankind. The phrase “spread you in the earth” refers to how Allah:
Established human beings in various lands and regions,
Multiplied the human race from a single soul,
And provided sustenance suited to each community’s needs and conditions.
It shows that although human habitation is rooted in the earth, there are rare and extraordinary exceptions, like:
Prophet Isa (عليه السلام) residing in the heavens temporarily,
Prophet Adam (عليه السلام) starting in Paradise,
And Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ascending to the heavens during Mi‘rāj.
Still, the original and destined place for humanity's life and test is the earth, and after death, all will ultimately return to Allah for reckoning and resurrection.
