    فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتٖ مِّن نَّخِيلٖ وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ لَّكُمۡ فِيهَا فَوَٰكِهُ كَثِيرَةٞ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ

    Transliteration:( Fa anshaanaa lakum bihee Jannaatim min nakheelinw wa a'naab; lakum feehaa fawaakihu kaseeratunw wa minhaa taakuloon )

    19. Then We created therewith your gardens of dates and grapes for you therein. For you are abundant [24] fruits, and you eat from there [25]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (19) And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Mu’minoon – Verse 19

    "Then We created therewith your gardens of dates and grapes; for you therein are abundant [24] fruits, and you eat from there [25]."

    ✅ [24] Abundance and Variety of Fruits

    This highlights the great diversity and richness of fruits. Some scholars, like Imam Abu Hanifa (may Allah be pleased with him), cited this verse as evidence to exclude grapes and dates from the general term "fruit" in certain legal rulings, such as vows—because Allah has mentioned them separately, indicating a distinct nutritional and functional value.

    ✅ [25] Consumption and Distribution

    This means that some parts of the fruit are consumed by people, while other parts serve different purposes—like skins and pits being discarded or used as animal fodder. This subtly teaches that not all wealth is for personal use—a share must be given to others, such as in Zakat. Just as one does not consume every part of a fruit, one should not hoard every portion of wealth.

    19. That is, other kinds of fruits than dates and grapes.

    20. That is, you sustain yourselves by the produce that you get from these gardens in the shape of fruit, corn, wood, etc.
