Transliteration:( Wallazeena yu'toona maaa aataw wa quloobuhum wajilatun annahum ilaa Rabbihim raaji'oon )
"And those who give what they give and their hearts are trembling [91] because they are to return [92] to their Lord."
This verse refers to those believers who perform righteous deeds—such as charity, worship, and obedience—yet their hearts tremble with awe and fear of Allah. This fear is not due to sin alone, but from the deep awareness of Allah’s greatness.
True excellence in faith lies in doing good while fearing rejection, not in expressing fear after sin without repentance—like Shaitaan, who said, "Indeed, I fear Allah" (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:16) yet continued disobedience. However, fear that leads to abandoning sin is praiseworthy, while a lack of fear after sin is criminal.
These righteous believers dread the Day of Return, unsure whether their deeds will be accepted or not. This humility prevents pride and encourages sincerity. They understand that success lies not in the act alone, but in its acceptance by Allah Almighty.

(23:60) who give, whatever they give in charity, with their hearts trembling at the thought that they are destined to return to their Lord;[54]
54. This verse (60) may be elaborated like this: They serve their Lord and try their best to obey Him and do righteous deeds, but all along they remain humble in their hearts and are not puffed up with the pride of their piety. Nay, in spite of all their good deeds, their hearts are always filled with awe that they shall have to render an account to their Lord, and they are not sure whether they will come out successful in the judgment of their Lord or not. A concrete interpretation of this verse is afforded by Umar. Although he served his Allah in a way that was exemplary, yet he was so afraid of accountability to Him that he is reported to have said before death: I shall consider it a favor, if I am neither rewarded nor punished in the Hereafter. Hasan Basri has expressed the same thing in a beautiful manner: A believer obeys Allah and is yet fearful of Him, and a hypocrite disobeys Allah and is yet fearless of Him.
