Transliteration:( Ulaaa'ika yusaari'oona fil khairaati wa hum lahaa saabiqoon )
"These people hasten on to do good, and they are first to attain them [93]."
In this verse, two attributes of pious people have been mentioned:
To make haste in doing good deeds – The righteous do not delay or hesitate in performing acts of virtue. They are always eager and proactive in fulfilling moral and religious duties.
To make an effort to beat one another in doing good deeds – This shows a positive competition in righteousness. To have a desire and eagerness to perform more good than others, or to be at the forefront of good actions, is itself an act of goodness and reflects a sincere spiritual ambition.
