    Transliteration:( Qaala innamaa ana rasoolu Rabbiki li ahaba laki ghulaaman zakiyyaa )

    19. He said, “I am only a messenger from your Lord, to announce to you the gift of a pure son.” [30] (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Maryam – Verse 19

    "He said, 'I am only a messenger from your Lord, to announce to you the gift of a pure son.' [30]" (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    ✅ [30] Divine Gift Through an Angelic Messenger

    This shows that through the permission of Allah Almighty, Hazrat Jibraeel (on whom be peace) came with the glad tidings of a son.
    It also proves that children and other blessings can be granted through the chosen servants of Allah.

    Hence, it is valid to say that the Holy Prophet ﷺ gives faith, honour, children, Paradise, and other bounties—as a means through Allah’s will.

    Hazrat Rabee’ah once asked the Holy Prophet ﷺ directly for Paradise, which is a clear example.
    Also, we learn that a veil is not required in front of angels, since they are not human, just as there is no veil from animals.

    Ibn-Kathir

    Ala-Maududi

    (19:19) He said: “I am just a message-bearer of your Lord, I have come to grant you a most pure boy.”

    There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.
