    📖 Commentary of Surah Maryam – Verse 37

    “Then the parties differed [61]. Woe to those who disbelieve from the sight of a great day [62].” (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    ✅ [61] Sectarian Division After Isa (A.S.)

    After Hazrat Isa (On whom be peace) was raised to the heavens, the Christians split into various groups:

    • Yaqubiyah claimed he was God in human form.

    • Nastooriah said he was the son of God.

    • Malikaniyah believed he was Allah's servant and Messenger, and they were on truth (Tafseer Madarik & Khazainul Irfaan).

    ✅ [62] Warning Only to Disbelievers

    Because some Christians held correct belief, the warning of destruction is for disbelievers only, not all who identified as Christians.
