Transliteration:( Fakhtalafal ahzaabu min bainihim fawailul lillazeena kafaroo min mashhadi Yawmin 'azeem )
“Then the parties differed [61]. Woe to those who disbelieve from the sight of a great day [62].” (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
After Hazrat Isa (On whom be peace) was raised to the heavens, the Christians split into various groups:
Yaqubiyah claimed he was God in human form.
Nastooriah said he was the son of God.
Malikaniyah believed he was Allah's servant and Messenger, and they were on truth (Tafseer Madarik & Khazainul Irfaan).
Because some Christians held correct belief, the warning of destruction is for disbelievers only, not all who identified as Christians.
