Transliteration:( Wa ja'alanee mubaarakan aina maa kuntu wa awsaanee bis Salaati waz Zakaati maa dumtu haiyaa )
"And He made me blessed wherever I may be [51] and enjoined upon me prayer and charity [52] as long as I live." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
This means that wherever Hazrat Isa (on whom be peace) went, he was a source of benefit, guidance, and blessing for the people.
He declares that he is a benefactor and righteous teacher—a hallmark of Prophetic personality, whose name and presence bring blessings to others.
The command for prayer (salah) and charity (zakaat) here symbolizes:
Purity of body and soul, not obligatory wealth-based charity.
Since Prophets do not accumulate wealth, zakaat as a tax was not required of them.
Hazrat Isa (on whom be peace) lived in ascetic simplicity, owning little to no material possessions.
Also, "as long as I live" refers specifically to life on Earth, as salah is not obligatory in the heavens.
This verse highlights the lifelong commitment of Prophets to worship and spiritual purity.
