Transliteration:( Tilkal jannatul latee noorisu min 'ibaadinaa man kaana taqiyyaa )
"This is the Garden which We will give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were devoutly righteous [114]."
In this verse, Jannah (Paradise) is described as an inheritance—not merely a reward, but a granted right to those who lived with Taqwa (piety and God-consciousness).
The phrase "devoutly righteous" refers to:
Those who feared Allah, avoided sin, and remained steadfast in their obedience.
They are the true inheritors of Paradise, as if it were their rightful possession prepared for them from the beginning.
This inheritance is twofold:
Earned Paradise – granted through faith and righteous deeds to the pious.
Bestowed Paradise – granted without deeds, such as:
To minor children of believers who die before maturity.
To beings created for Paradise simply to fill its vast spaces, as per divine wisdom.
Additionally, it is mentioned that the portion of Paradise meant for disbelievers (who rejected it) may be reallocated to the believers, thus increasing their share.
This verse reassures that those who lived with sincerity and righteousness will receive a share in the eternal bliss, by Allah’s mercy, justice, and generosity.
