Transliteration:( Alam tara annaaa arsalnash Shayaateena 'alal kaafireena ta'uzzuhum azzaa )
"Did you not see that We sent the Shaitaan [145] upon the disbelievers, to urge them strongly [146]?"
Three important lessons emerge from this verse:
Shaitaan gains influence over a person because of his own evil actions.
Evil friends are in fact a form of Divine punishment.
It is the devil’s job to push people towards evil, and this is carried out by him and his followers.
Shaitaan and his companions intensely tempt the disbelievers towards polytheism and sin, making evil appear attractive. But when punishment descends, they abandon them completely. A real-world example is when some people discourage giving Zakaat, yet promote lavish spending in un-Islamic customs, showing the deceit of such influences.
