Transliteration:( Wa kam ahlaknaa qabla hum min qarnin hal tuhissu minhum min ahadin aw tasma'u lahum rikzaa (section 6) )
"And how many generations We have destroyed before them. Do you perceive any of them, or hear from them a whisper [160]?"
This verse highlights the complete annihilation of many past nations who rejected divine guidance.
The absence of their voices or presence is a sign of their total destruction—not even a whisper remains.
Yet, the Holy Prophet ﷺ sees their punishment, such as during the Night of Me'raaj, when he was shown sinners in Hell.
Therefore, this verse does not negate the Prophet’s ﷺ spiritual insight or observation.
This rebuts the claim of those who deny the Prophet’s ﷺ access to the unseen, as the verse speaks of worldly silence, not divine concealment from the Prophet ﷺ.
