📖 Commentary of Surah Maryam – Verse 60

"But those who repented and believed and did righteous deeds [107], will enter Paradise [108] and will not be wronged in the least [109]."

✅ [107] The Order of Redemption

This verse outlines the correct path to salvation for those who have strayed:

  1. Repentance (Tawbah) – Sincerely turning away from disbelief and sin, showing complete disgust for infidelity.

  2. Belief (Iman) – Accepting the truth of Islam and affirming one’s faith in Allah and His Messengers.

  3. Righteous Deeds (A’maal-e-Saliha) – Performing good deeds in accordance with the Shari'ah.

This sequence is crucial. Without genuine repentance and belief, righteous actions hold no spiritual weight. But once the heart is cleansed, good deeds serve as proof of one’s sincerity and lead to divine acceptance.

✅ [108] Entry into Paradise

Those who follow this path will be granted Paradise. There will be no reduction in their reward, and their repentance will wipe away past sins.

Any loss in reward that occurs is due to a person's own actions, such as hypocrisy, pride, or showing off, not due to any injustice from Allah.

✅ [109] Absolute Divine Justice

The phrase "will not be wronged in the least" confirms that Allah is Most Just. No believer who turns to Him sincerely will have their deeds overlooked or diminished unfairly.

This verse provides immense hope—even those who once neglected their duties, if they sincerely return, believe, and do good, are not only forgiven but welcomed into Paradise, with full and fair reward for every deed.
