Transliteration:( Yaaa abati innee qad jaaa'anee minal 'ilmi maa lam ya'tika fattabi'neee ahdika siraatan Sawiyyaa )
“O my father, indeed there has come to me knowledge which has not come to you. So follow me, and I will guide you to a straight path.” (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
Hazrat Ibrahim (علیہ السلام) gently explains that he has been granted knowledge by Allah Almighty that his uncle (called father here) has not received.
This highlights the principle that age or familial status does not outweigh Divine guidance.
Ilm-e-Laduni (Divinely inspired knowledge) is given directly to Prophets. They do not need to learn from others—they are the teachers of the world.
🔹 Lesson:
A father should not consider it beneath his dignity to learn from a son, especially when the son is Divinely guided. Similarly, a common man should not hesitate to become a disciple (mureed) of a saintly child or scholar.
Hazrat Ibrahim (علیہ السلام) invites his uncle to follow him on the Straight Path (Sirat al-Mustaqeem).
This indicates that all—even the elders and relatives of Prophets—must submit to their mission and become their followers.
🔹 Insight: This verse reinforces the supremacy of revealed knowledge and how spiritual leadership is not determined by age or lineage, but by Allah’s selection and guidance.
