    Transliteration:( Wa tilkal quraaa ahlak nahum lammaa zalamoo wa ja'alnaa limahlikihim maw'idaa (section 8) )

    59. And those towns We destroyed when they committed injustices, and We had appointed a fixed time for their destruction [141]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Al-Baqarah – Verse 59

    "And those towns We destroyed when they committed injustices, and We had appointed a fixed time for their destruction [141]."

    ✅ [141] Appointed Time for Divine Punishment

    This means that even the previous disbelievers were not punished hastily. Instead, a specific day was appointed for their destruction, and they were destroyed precisely on that day.

    56. The ruined habitations were of Saba, Thamud, Midian and the people of Prophet Lot, which were visited by the Quraish during their trade journeys, and which were quite well known to other Arabs also.
