Quran-18:59 Surah Al-kahf English Translation,Transliteration and Tafsir(Tafseer).

Transliteration:( Wa tilkal quraaa ahlak nahum lammaa zalamoo wa ja'alnaa limahlikihim maw'idaa (section 8) )

59. And those towns: we have destroyed were destroyed when they committed injustices, and We had appointed a fixed time for their destruction.(141).

141.This means even the previous infidels, too, were not subjected to hasty punishment instead, their day of destruction was appointed and they were destroyed on that day.

(18:59) All the townships afflicted with scourge are before your eyes.[56] When they committed wrong, We destroyed them. For the destruction of each We had set a definite term.

56. The ruined habitations were of Saba, Thamud, Midian and the people of Prophet Lot, which were visited by the Quraish during their trade journeys, and which were quite well known to other Arabs also.
