Transliteration:( Qaala ara'ayta iz awainaaa ilas sakhrati fa innee naseetul hoota wa maaa ansaaneehu illash Shaitaanu an azkurah; wattakhaza sabeelahoo fil bahri'ajabaa )
"He said, 'Do you remember when we took refuge at the rock? Indeed, I forgot the fish, and Satan made me forget [149] to mention it. It took its path in the sea in a remarkable manner.'"
This verse reveals that Shaitaan cannot mislead a Prophet, nor can he tempt them to commit sin. However, he can cause forgetfulness in non-essential matters.
This shows the perfection of prophetic protection—while they are safeguarded from sin and misguidance, minor lapses like forgetfulness in worldly tasks may occur, serving to remind the Ummah of human limitations in non-religious matters.
