Transliteration:( Qaala laa tu'aakhiznee bimaa naseetu wa laa turhiqnee min amree 'usraa )
"Musa said, 'Do not blame me for what I forgot [163], and do not make my affair difficult for me.'"
Hazrat Musa (on whom be peace) acknowledged that he forgot the agreement and thus unintentionally broke the condition set by Hazrat Khizr. He appealed for forgiveness and ease, emphasizing that in Shariah, there is no sin upon forgetfulness or unintentional error.
This teaches an important lesson: errors made due to genuine forgetfulness are not punishable in Islamic law. Moreover, it highlights a principle in spiritual guidance—religious mentors should not be overly strict or harsh with disciples, but rather test and assess the sincerity of a seeker before proceeding further.
This incident demonstrates both the humility of Hazrat Musa and the gentle patience required in the teacher-student relationship, especially when the path involves spiritual training and inner knowledge.
