Transliteration:( Waja'alna naumakum subata )
"And We have made sleep for your rest."
This verse highlights the divine purpose and significance of sleep:
Comfort for the Common People – Sleep serves as a means of physical and mental rest, providing comfort and rejuvenation.
Peace for the Special People – For the pious and devout, sleep is not just rest; it becomes a form of peace for the heart and soul, where they find closeness to Allah.
The Prophet’s Sleep as Revelation – The sleep of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is considered unique, as it sometimes served as a form of divine inspiration.
A Reminder of the Day of Judgment – Sleep symbolizes the temporary nature of life and acts as a reminder of death, illustrating the helplessness of human beings.

7. The explanation of the wisdom for which Allah Almighty has placed a desire for sleep in man’s nature in order to make him fit for work in the world, and which impels him to a few hours’ sleep after every few hours of work, has been given in (Surah Ar-Room, ayat 23) note 33.
