    أَوۡ يُوبِقۡهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ وَيَعۡفُ عَن كَثِيرٖ

    Transliteration:( Aw yoobiqhunna bimaa kasaboo wa ya'fu 'an kaseer )

    34.0r. He can destroy them on account of their sins. But there is much that He pardons [98]. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    There is no commentary by Abul Maududi available for this verse.

    (34) Or He could destroy them[1424] for what they earned; but He pardons much.

    [1424]- Meaning that Allāh could sink the ships by means of violent winds.
