    Transliteration:( Iz ra aa naaran faqaala li ahlihim kusooo inneee aanastu naaral la'alleee aateekum minhaa biqabasin aw ajidu 'alan naari hudaa )

    10. When he saw a fire, then said to his wife, stay [9], I have seen a fire, so that I may bring for you a brand [10] of fire or find a way at the fire'. (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    (10) When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." (Saheen International Translation)

    📖 Commentary of Surah Ta-Ha – Verse 10

    "When he saw a fire, then said to his wife, stay [9], I have seen a fire, so that I may bring for you a brand [10] of fire or find a way at the fire."

    ✅ [9] Household and the Inclusion of Wives

    From this we learn that a wife is considered part of one’s household, as at that moment only his wife, Sayyidah Safoorah, was with him, whom he addressed as Ahl (household).

    Since the word Ahl is grammatically masculine, the verb "stay" is also in the masculine form. This serves as evidence that in the lineage of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, his wives are included among his household.

    ✅ [10] Musa’s Solitary Vision and Fire as a Resource

    Only Hazrat Musa (عليه السلام) saw the fire; Sayyidah Safoorah did not.

    We also learn that fire can be taken without explicit permission—this may indicate that Hazrat Musa (عليه السلام) was not certain whether he would bring fire back or receive guidance instead.

    This moment marks the beginning of divine interaction, leading to his prophethood.

    5. This happened when Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) was returning to Egypt after passing several years in exile in Midian, along with his wife whom he had married there. According to the early part of his history, which has been related in Surah Al-Qasas, an Egyptian had been killed by Prophet Moses (peace be upon him), so he had to leave Egypt in order to escape arrest and had taken refuge in Midian.

    6. It appears that this happened during a night of winter, when Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) was passing through the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula. When he saw a fire at a distance, he went towards it in the hope that he might get some of it to keep his wife and children warm during the night, or at least get some guidance concerning the direction of his journey. But instead of this it was his good fortune that he found the guidance to the right way.

    (10) When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance."
