Transliteration:( Qaala Rabbi lima hashar tanee a'maa wa qad kuntu baseeraa )
He will say, 'O my Lord, why have You raised me blind while I possessed sight?'
This verse expresses the regret of the one who turned away from Allah's remembrance. On the Day of Judgement, such a person will cry out in helplessness, asking why he has been resurrected blind, despite having had sight in the world.
Here, “sight” refers to physical vision in the worldly life, but more importantly to the inner awareness and opportunity to accept guidance which he neglected.
