    📖 Commentary of Surah Ta-Ha – Verse 20

    "Then Musa cast it down and that very moment it became a serpent running. [21]"

    ✅ [21] The Stick’s Transformation into a Moving Serpent

    This means the stick, in size, became like a huge python, but in speed, it moved like a thin snake.

    Allah Almighty says: "It at once became a serpent manifest." (Surah 7, Verse 107)
    It is further said: "As if it were a snake." (Surah 27, Verse 10)

    Thus, there is no inconsistency in the verses.

    Ibn-Kathir

    The tafsir of Surah Ta-Ha verse 20 by Ibn Kathir is unavailable here.
