Transliteration:( Maaa anzalnaa 'alaikal Qur-aana litashqaaa )
"O beloved! We sent not this Qur`aan upon you that you may be put to trouble. [3]"
In it there is the highest form of the Holy praise. While other prophets were instructed to increase their acts of worship, the Holy Prophet ﷺ was counselled to reduce his—not out of limitation, but due to his deep devotion.
This verse addresses the initial state of the Prophet ﷺ, where he engaged in intense, prolonged worship, out of his immense concern for fulfilling Allah’s command.
Allah reminds him through this verse that the purpose of revelation is not to cause burden, but to offer guidance, mercy, and spiritual upliftment.
