📖 Commentary of Surah Ta-Ha – Verse 39

"That you must put this child into a box and cast it into the river then the river will cast him on the bank [35], There who is the enemy to Me [36] and who is the enemy of him will pick him up and I cast on you the love from Me [37] and so that you may be brought up before My sight [38]."

✅ [35] Divine Protection through the River

This command is informative—that the river will carry the child to safety.
Hazrat Musa’s (عليه السلام) mother was divinely informed that her son would not perish in the Nile. Instead, he would reach Pharaoh’s palace safely.

So, Yuhaiz, the mother of Musa, had a box made by Saanom the carpenter, waterproofed and lined with a cotton cloth. She placed her son inside and released it into the Nile.
One canal of the river flowed towards the palace of Pharaoh. The box drifted to that direction and arrived at the palace.

At that very moment, Pharaoh and his wife were near the canal. When they opened the box, they were deeply moved and struck with love for the baby.
Allah’s wisdom is remarkable—Pharaoh, who had killed eighty thousand Israelite infants, was now unknowingly raising the one who would end his rule.

✅ [36] Harming Allah's Friends Equals Enmity with Allah

This teaches us that the enemy of a servant of Allah is, in reality, Allah's enemy.
Pharaoh, the enemy of Hazrat Musa (عليه السلام) and the Israelites, is declared by Allah as His own enemy.

Likewise, those who love the beloveds of Allah are also beloved to Him.

✅ [37] Love and Acceptance as a Miracle

We learn here that being loved and accepted by creation is a miracle granted to the Prophets.
Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is eternally loved by people—this is also a manifestation of his miracle.

✅ [38] Divine Upbringing under Allah’s Watch

This reveals that while ordinary people are raised by their parents, Allah Himself nurtures His chosen ones.

As Allah told the Holy Prophet ﷺ:
"Verily, you are before Our eyes." (Surah At-Tur, 52:48)
