Transliteration:( Kuloo min taiyibaati maa razaqnaakum wa laa tatghaw feehi fa yahilla 'alaikum ghadabee wa mai yahlil 'alaihi ghadabee faqad hawaa )
Eat what We provide you of pure things and exceed not [108] therein that My anger may descend on you, and he on whom My anger descends falls down. [109]
The command "exceed not" refers to several instructions:
Do not hoard the Manna and Salwa for the next day.
Do not commit sins after enjoying these Divine blessings.
Do not quarrel or fight amongst yourselves.
This guidance was given to preserve gratitude, discipline, and unity after being blessed with heavenly provisions.
Whoever is overtaken by Allah’s anger:
Faces severe punishment in Hell,
Or suffers disgrace in this world,
And falls from the lofty position of Divine nearness into the depths of distance and rejection.
Thus, the verse warns against ingratitude and excess, which lead to spiritual ruin.
