    📖 Commentary of Surah Ta-Ha – Verse 7

    "And if you speak the word loudly, then He knows. The secret and that which is more hidden [7] than this."

    ✅ [7] Allah Knows the Unseen and the Deepest Secrets

    "Secret" refers to what we know ourselves but keep concealed from others, while "more hidden" points to things even we are unaware of—such as our future deeds, or inner thoughts and intentions yet to arise.

    There are multiple levels of interpretation:

    • Secret may denote our concealed deeds, and more hidden our inner whispers and evil suggestions.

    • Or, secrets are known mysteries, and Ikhfā refers to divine mysteries that no one can comprehend.

    The real message is: whether sins are done openly or in secret, Allah knows all. This does not prohibit loud remembrance (Zikr) of Allah.

    Practices like the Azaan, Talbiyah during Hajj, and Takbeer-e-Tashreeq are done loudly and are encouraged. However, one must not mistakenly think that Allah hears only loud Zikr.

    Rather, loud Zikr serves to awaken one’s own heart, remind others, and draw people’s attention toward the remembrance of Allah.

    3. That is, you need not complain to Allah in a loud voice against the persecution from which you and your companions are suffering and the mischievous machinations your enemies are devising to defeat you for Allah is fully aware of all those things, and He hears even the complaints you cherish in your hearts.

    (7) And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.
