The summary/theme of the Surah Al-Anfal

 There are beautiful points to be understood and applied in Surah Anfal, also known as Surah Badr, which discusses the first battle between Muslims and polytheists in Mecca in the 2nd year after Hijra.

Lesson learned from surah Al-Anfal

  1. The true believers are those whose hearts soften when Allāh is remembered, and when the Āyahs of Allāh are recited, their Īmān increases in strength.  
  2. As long as people remain seeking Allāh’s forgiveness, His punishment will not befall them.  
  3. The spoils of war should be distributed according to the instructions of Allāh.  
  4. Allāh does not like those who deceive.  
  5. No matter how hard you try to achieve something, you will never be able to achieve it if Allāh doesn’t will for it to happen.

Recitation   Benefits of surah Al-Anfal

  1.  Recitation of Surah Anfal will helpful Intercession on Qiyama /Day Of Judgement.
  2.  One of the benefit of Surah Anfal Recitation is Fulfillment of hajat/Need/Purpose.
  3.  Recitation of Surah Anfal breaks the neck of self-conceit, pride and other evils. Our Beloved Prophet Mohammed (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) would intercede on behalf of the reciter of this surah on the day of judgement and assure the almighty Lord that hypocrisy never touched the reciter of this surat. Good deeds equal in number to all the hypocrites would be recorded in the name of the reciter of this surah.
  4.  Another benefit of Surah Anfal is on paper and wear around the neck as a taweez would get his rights from the man in authority. He would have an upper hand over those who quarrel with him or annoy him and come out fully satisfied.
  5. Surah Al-Anfal Wazifa for Getting Better Results in any exams, Recite he 62nd Ayah of this Surah 7 times before entering the examination hall with Wudu.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡأَنفَالِۖ قُلِ ٱلۡأَنفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَصۡلِحُواْ ذَاتَ بَيۡنِكُمۡۖ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
 Transliteration:( Yas'aloonaka 'anil anfaali qulil anfaalu lillaahi war Rasooli fattaqul laaha wa aslihoo zaata bainikum wa atee'ul laaha wa Rasoolahooo in kuntum mu'mineen )

1. O Beloved Prophet they question you regarding the spoils (1)of war. Say You: "The spoils belong to Allah and His Messenger (2). So fear Allah (3), and keep things right among yourselves. And obey Allah and His Messenger, if you believe (4).

إِنَّمَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُهُۥ زَادَتۡهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
 Transliteration:( Innamal mu'minoonal lazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wa izaa tuliyat 'alaihim Aayaatuhoo zaadat hum eemaananw wa 'alaa Rabbihim yatawakkaloon )

2. Only they are believers whose hearts tremble when Allah is mentioned (5), and when His verses are recited to them. And their faith gets increased (6), and in their Lord they put their trust (7)".

ٱلَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ يُنفِقُونَ
 Transliteration:( Allazeena yuqeemoonas Salaata wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon )

3. They establish Salaah prayer and spend something of what We have provided for them (8)".

4. They are true believers. For them are exalted ranks with their Lord, forgiveness and the honorable provisions. (9).

5. O Beloved Prophet As your Lord brought you forth from your house with truth (10). And surely even a group of believers were unhappy over it(11).

 Transliteration:( Wa iz ya'idukumul laahu ihdat taaa'ifataini annahaa lakum wa tawaddoona anna ghaira zaatish shawkati takoonu lakum wa yureedul laahu ai yuhiqqal haqqa bikalimaatihee wa yaqta'a daabiral kaafireen )

7. And remember when Allah promised you that in both these parties (13), one group is yours, and you wished that you should have that one which has no weapons (14). And Allah willed that truth be proven by His Words. And the roots of the infidels (15), be cut off.

10. And Allah did this but for your pleasure (19), and in order that your hearts might find contentment. And there is no help, but from Allah(20) Surely, Allah is Dominant, Wise.
