The summary/theme of the surah Fuṣṣilat

 According to this Surah, this Qur'an cannot be changed by your noise and falsehoods. Whether the falsehood comes from the front or makes an indirect attack from behind, it cannot succeed in refuting it.

Lesson learned from surah Fuṣṣilat

  1. The people of ‘Ä€d were destroyed by a severe wind, that blew for days. They thought there was no one stronger than them.
  2. The people of Thamūd were destroyed by a scream.
  3. The ears, eyes and skin of the people of Jahannam will testify against them on the Day of Judgement. They will ask, ‘Why did you testify against us?!’ They will say, ‘The being who has the power to make things speak, made us speak. [We had no choice].’
  4. The disbelievers would say to each other, ‘Do not listen to this Qur’ān, rather, create distractions when its being recited so that you may overpower its effect.’
  5. Those who believe and thereafter stay steadfast, will be comforted by angels at the time of death and the Hereafter.
  6. Always show good character in dealings. If you do, even the staunchest enemy shall be won over.
  7. If you feel Shayṭān is trying his work on you, seek the refuge in Allāh.
  8. Allāh is not in need of anyone worshipping Him. Despite that, there is no shortage of anyone worshipping Him from His creation.
  9. Whoever does good, will benefit himself, and whoever does evil, will harm himself.
  10. Man never tires from asking for good, but when he is afflicted with something, he becomes despondent.
  11. When man is blessed with goodness after hardship by Allāh, he thinks of it to be his right, and turns to the disobedience of Allāh.
  12. When Allāh blesses man, he turns away from Allāh, yet when he is afflicted with troubles, he turns to Allāh in lengthy prayers.
  13. Allāh will continue to show the people signs from within and from afar, until the truth becomes clear to them.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٖ
Transliteration:( Wa izaaa an'amnaa 'alal insaani a'rada wa na-aa bijaani bihee wa izaa massahush sharru fazoo du'aaa'in 'areed )

51.And when We bless a human being, he turns away (142) withdrawing aside, and when evil befalls him, then he offers long prayers (143),

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرۡتُم بِهِۦ مَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنۡ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقِۭ بَعِيدٖ
Transliteration:( Qul araaitum in kaana min 'indil laahi summa kafar tum bihee man adallu mimman huwa fee shiqaqim ba'eed )

52.Please declare: "Tell me if this Quran is from Allah (144), but yet you reject it?" Who is more on the wrong way then the one who is in extreme dissent?

سَنُرِيهِمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فِي ٱلۡأٓفَاقِ وَفِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمۡ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّۗ أَوَلَمۡ يَكۡفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ
Transliteration:( Sanureehim Aayaatinaa fil aafaaqi wa feee anfusihim hattaa yatabaiyana lahum annahul haqq; awa lam yakfi bi Rabbika annahoo 'alaa kulli shai-in Shaheed )

53.We shall soon show them Our Signs in the horizon (145) and in themselves (146), till it becomes clear to them that it is the truth (147). Is it not sufficient (148) that your Lord is witness over everything?

أَلَآ إِنَّهُمۡ فِي مِرۡيَةٖ مِّن لِّقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٖ مُّحِيطُۢ
Transliteration:( Alaaa innahum fee miryatim mil liqaaa'i Rabbihim; alaaa innahoo bikulli shai'im muheet (section 6) )

54.Listen, thes are certainly in doubt (149) of meeting with their Lord. Behold! He encompasses everything (150)་
