The summary/theme of the Surah Ibrahim:

This surah is an admonition to the disbelievers who were dismissing the message of Muhammad and devising cunning plans to crush his mission. Be that as it may, notice that impugning, scolding, and rebuking overwhelm admonitions.

Lesson learned from Surah Ibrahim:

  1. If you are grateful and thank Allah's, He will increase you in favours; but if you are ungrateful, His punishment is severe.  
  2. Shayá¹­'n will dramatically turn his back on those who followed him on the Day of Judgement.  
  3. Nothing can be hidden from the Knowledge of Allah's  
  4. Never think of Allah's to be neglectful of the actions of the oppressors.  
  5. Allah's never goes against His promise.  
  6. Make it a point to say this du‘':  رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ‌Ûš رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ، رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِى وَلِوَالِدَىَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ'O my Rabb! Make me one who establishes Salaah and from my progeny too [create those who establish Salaah], and accept this prayer of mine. O our Rabb! Forgive me, my parents and the Believers on the day the accounting is established.’[1] 14:40-41  If you try to count the blessings of Allah's, you will be unable to do so.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 

رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ

Transliteration:( Rabbanagh fir lee wa liwaalidaiya wa lilmu'mineena Yawma yaqoomul hisaab )
41. 'Our Lord, forgive me, my parents [91], and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will occur [92].'

42. And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do [93]. He only gives them respite until a Day when their eyes will stare in horror [94].

مُهۡطِعِينَ مُقۡنِعِي رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَا يَرۡتَدُّ إِلَيۡهِمۡ طَرۡفُهُمۡۖ وَأَفۡـِٔدَتُهُمۡ هَوَآءٞ

Transliteration:( Muhti'eena muqni'ee ru'oosihim laa yartaddu ilaihim tarfuhum wa af'idatuhum hawaaa' )
43. hey will come out running [95], with their heads raised high, their gaze unreturning [96], and their hearts will be void [97].

Transliteration:( Wa anzirin naasa Yawma yaateehimul 'azaabu fa yaqoolul lazeena zalamoo Rabbanaaa akhkhirnaaa ilaaa ajalin qareebin nujib da'wataka wa nattabi 'ir Rusul; awalam takoonooo aqsamtum min qablu maa lakum min zawaal )
44. And warn mankind of the Day [97] when the punishment will come upon them. Then the wrongdoers will say [98], 'Our Lord, delay us for a short term so that we may respond to Your call and follow the messengers.' Did you not swear previously that you would never move away [100]?

Transliteration:( Wa sakantum fee masaakinil lazeena zalamooo anfusahum wa tabaiyana lakum kaifa fa'alnaa bihim wa darabnaa lakumul amsaal )
45. And you settled in the dwellings of those who wronged themselves [101], and it became clear to you how We dealt with them [102], and We gave you examples [103].

47. So never think that Allah will break His promise to His messengers [105]. Indeed, Allah is Mighty, and Lord of Retribution.

Transliteration:( Yawma tubaddalul ardu ghairal ardi wassamaawaatu wa barazoo lillaahil Waahidil Qahhaar )
48. The Day when the earth will be replaced by another earth, and the heavens [106], and all will stand before Allah, the One, the Dominant [107].

49. And you will see the criminals on that Day bound together in chains [108].

سَرَابِيلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانٖ وَتَغۡشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ

50. Their shirts [109] shall be of pitch, and the fire shall cover their faces.
