    9. The Sinners Who Deny the Truth – Commentary (Tafseer) of the Verse 83:12

    "And none will belie it but a transgressor, a sinner."

    Defective Belief and Sinful Actions

    This verse describes those who reject the Day of Judgment as both transgressors and sinners.

    • A transgressor is someone with corrupted belief, rejecting Allah’s justice, eternal rule, and power.
    • A sinner is one who commits evil deeds, engaging in disobedience due to denial of the Hereafter.
    • A tyrant oppresses others, while a sinner neglects worship.

    This teaches us that rejecting religious beliefs often comes from following personal desires. Many disbelievers deny the Day of Judgment simply to justify their sins.

    Additionally, some so-called free thinkers oppose Islamic scholars because scholars stand in the way of their personal and immoral desires.
