The summary/theme of the surah Al-Anbiya:

 The Holy Prophet and the chiefs of Makkah were involved in the conflict at the time of its revelation, and this Surah deals with objections and doubts concerning his Prophethood, the Doctrines of Tauhid, and the Hereafter.

Lesson learned from surah Al-Anbiya:

 

  1. The Day of Reckoning is drawing closer while we are still wandering in neglect.  
  2. Ask the people who know if you yourself don’t know.  
  3. Allah's cannot be questioned about what He does, whereas we will be questioned over our actions.  
  4. Every soul shall taste death.  
  5. The human is intrinsically hasty and impatient.
  6. Allah's created every living thing from water.  
  7. There will be thorough weighing of deeds on the Day of Judgement. 
  8. AyyÅ«b عليه السلام was afflicted with a serious illness, but instead of asking Allah's to remove it, he merely mentioned it and said, ‘You are the most merciful from those who show mercy.’ He couldn’t bring himself to ask Allah's to remove it: such was his disposition.  
  9. Allah's sent Muḥammad ï·º as a mercy for the worlds.

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

۞وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ رُشۡدَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ وَكُنَّا بِهِۦ عَٰلِمِينَ

Transliteration:( Wa laqad aatainaaa Ibraaheema rushdahoo min qablu wa kunnaa bihee 'aalimeen )
51. And indeed, We bestowed over Ibrahim his righteous path [81], from before, and We knew him [82].

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنتُمۡ لَهَا عَٰكِفُونَ

Transliteration:( Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maa haazihit tamaaseelul lateee antum lahaa 'aakifoon )
52. When he said to his father [83] and his people, 'what are these images before which you are sitting firmly' (for worship) (84).

قَالُواْ وَجَدۡنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا لَهَا عَٰبِدِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo wajadnaaa aabaaa'anaa lahaa 'aabideen )
53. They said, "we found our fathers worshipping them.'

قَالَ لَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُمۡ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

Transliteration:( Qaala laqad kuntum antum wa aabaaa'ukum fee dalaalin mubeen )
54. He said, 'Indeed, you and your fathers are in manifest error [85].

قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ أَمۡ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱللَّـٰعِبِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaalooo aji'tanaa bil haqqi am anta minal laa'ibeen )
55. They said, 'Have you brought truth to us, or you are making a play unintentionally? [86].

قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمۡ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaala bar Rabbukum Rabbus samaawaati wal ardil lazee fatarahunna wa ana 'alaa zaalikum minash shaahideen )
56. He said, 'Nay, your Lord is He Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them [87], and I am of the witness to that [88].

وَتَٱللَّهِ لَأَكِيدَنَّ أَصۡنَٰمَكُم بَعۡدَ أَن تُوَلُّواْ مُدۡبِرِينَ

Transliteration:( Wa tallaahi la akeedanna asnaamakum ba'da an tuwalloo mudbireen )
57. And I swear by Allah, I shall devise bad against your idols after you have turned your backs [89].

فَجَعَلَهُمۡ جُذَٰذًا إِلَّا كَبِيرٗا لَّهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡهِ يَرۡجِعُونَ

Transliteration:( Faja'alahum juzaazan illaa kabeeral lahum la'allahum ilaihi yarji'oon )
58. Then he broke them in to pieces [90], but the big one of them, so that they may ask to it something [91].

قَالُواْ مَن فَعَلَ هَٰذَا بِـَٔالِهَتِنَآ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo man fa'ala haazaa bi aalihatinaaa innahoo laminaz zaalimeen )
59. They said, 'Who has done this to our gods?' indeed, he is unjust.

قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا فَتٗى يَذۡكُرُهُمۡ يُقَالُ لَهُۥٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمُ

Transliteration:( Qaaloo sami'naa fatany yazkuruhum yuqaalu lahooo Ibraaheem )
60. Some of them said, "We have heard a youth called Ibrahim [92]. saying bad to them'.
