Transliteration:( Yaa qawmi laaa as'alukum 'alaihi ajran in ajriya illaa 'alal lazee fataranee; afalaa ta'qiloon )
"O my people, I do not ask you for any reward for this. My reward is only from the One who created me [109]. Will you not then understand?"
✅ [109] No Personal Gain
In this verse, Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) states that he does not seek any material reward for delivering the message of Allah. His reward is with Allah alone, the One who created him. This reflects the key principle in all Prophetic missions: the Prophets never sought any personal gain or material benefit. They were selfless, and their mission was purely for the sake of Allah, not for worldly desires.
Every Prophet conveyed the same message—true guidance can only come from someone who is free of personal motives. From this, we learn that a person who uses prophethood for self-serving purposes, such as Mirza Ghulam Qadyani, cannot be considered a true prophet. He allegedly used prophethood to fulfill personal needs and gain material benefits. A true prophet, therefore, is someone who is free from such ulterior motives and offers guidance with sincerity.

(11:51) My people! I seek no reward from you for my work. My reward lies only with Him Who created me. Do you not understand anything?[56]
56. This concise sentence contains a very strong argument: The fact that you are taking a superficial view of my Message and rejecting it without paying due and deep consideration to it is a clear proof that you are not using your common sense. Had you tried to understand the matter, you would have found much material for your consideration. You would have noticed that I have absolutely no personal interests: nay, I am suffering hardships, in conveying the message which cannot bring any benefit to me or to the members of my family. This is a conclusive proof that my faith has very sound bases which are strong enough to enable me to forsake all the worldly joys and comforts and encounter the enmity of the whole world by waging a war against the centuries old, established rites, customs and ways of life. Do these things not demand a deep and serious consideration? Why don’t you then use your common sense before rejecting the message outright?
