Transliteration:( Innee tawakkaltu 'alallaahi Rabbee wa Rabbikum; maa min daaabbatin illaa Huwa aakhizum binaasiyatihaa; inna Rabbee 'alaa Siraatim mustaqeem )
"I rely [117] on Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no moving creature whose forelock is not under His control. Indeed, my Lord [His guidance] is on a straight path [118]."
✅ [117] Reliance on Allah
Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) gives the loftiest example of reliance on Allah, stating that he places his full trust and dependence on the Creator, not on the created sources. This teaches the principle of total reliance on Allah, letting go of reliance on material means or human power. It highlights the importance of trusting in Allah’s plan, as He controls everything in the universe, including the forelock of every moving creature. This is a powerful reminder that Allah is the ultimate source of guidance and protection.
✅ [118] The Straight Path
Hazrat Hud (peace be upon him) also affirms that Allah’s guidance is on the straight path. This refers to the path of truth and righteousness that leads to salvation. The straight path is not just a physical direction but the spiritual way of life that aligns with Allah’s commandments. The analogy is made clear: while a traveler may be told that Lahore is to the right, they will only reach their destination if they follow the correct path. Similarly, true believers must follow the path of Allah and His Prophet to reach the desired destination of guidance and eternal success. Allah says to His Messenger: "No doubt you have been sent on a straight path" (S36: V3-4), emphasizing the importance of following the Prophet’s teachings.

Please refer to Surah Hud ayat 53 which provides the complete commentary from verse 53 through 56.
(11:56) I have put my trust in Allah, Who is my Lord and your Lord. There is no moving creature which He does not hold by its forelock. Surely, My Lord is on the straight path.[63]
63. That is, whatever my Lord does is always right and correct for all His ways are straight and just, and the judgments He passes are based entirely on truth and justice. Therefore you cannot come out successful in your conflict with me: for you have deviated from the right way and are committing wicked deeds, while I am on the right way.
