📖 Commentary of Surah Yunus – Verse 109
"And follow that which is revealed [280] to you and have patience until Allah decrees. And He is the Best of Judges." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
This verse commands absolute adherence to Quranic teachings while demonstrating patience during trials. The instruction carries particular significance regarding interactions with non-Muslim communities:
Military Policy:
Directs Muslims to combat Arabian polytheists while showing tolerance toward People of the Book (Jews and Christians)
Jizyah Regulations:
Permissible only from People of the Book, not Arabian idolaters
Scholarly differences exist regarding polytheists outside Arabia:
Hanafi view: Permits collecting jizyah from them
Shafi'i view: Prohibits such collection
Judicial Wisdom:
Emphasizes Allah's perfect judgment in all matters
Requires patience when implementing divine laws
