    📖 Commentary of Surah Yunus – Verse 33

    "Thus the word of your Lord proved true against the transgressors [100], that they will not believe [101]."

    ✅ [100] The Transgressors and Their Fate

    The transgressors here refer to those disbelievers whose sinful beliefs have sealed their fate. Their end was decreed by Allah as a result of their rejection of faith and the truth. The word of your Lord refers to Allah’s decree that those who persist in disbelief and sin will be filled in Hell, as stated in S39:V85.

    ✅ [101] The Will of the Disbelievers

    These individuals have been listed by Allah Almighty as disbelievers, and as a result, they will continually choose evil over good. Their hearts are sealed, and they are left to follow their own desires in opposition to Allah’s guidance, reinforcing their rejection of faith and their path to destruction.

    (10:33) Thus the word of your Lord is fulfilled concerning the transgressors that they shall not believe.[40]

    40. That is, this Word of your Lord has come true that those who have made up their minds that they would not believe in any case would never believe because of their obduracy, even if the truth were to be presented before them with very plain and clear arguments.

    (33) Thus the word [i.e., decree] of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed - that they will not believe.
