    📖 Commentary of Surah Yunus – Verse 25

    "And Allah calls towards the home of peace [75], and He guides whom He wills to the Straight Path [76]."

    ✅ [75] The Home of Peace – Darus Salaam

    Darus Salaam refers to Paradise, the ultimate abode of peace, where its inhabitants are protected from death and all forms of suffering. Paradise consists of three stages:

    1. The beginning: Bounty, where the believers are rewarded with mercy and grace.

    2. The middle: Pleasure, where the inhabitants experience eternal bliss and satisfaction.

    3. The end: Eternity, the endless nature of Paradise where the rewards continue without end.
      Alternatively, Darus Salaam can also refer to the heart of the Prophet (PBUH) and the pious sages, a place of spiritual peace, free from negative emotions such as jealousy, hatred, or any defects, as it is in the abode of Allah's purity.

    ✅ [76] The Calling and Guidance of Allah

    This verse illustrates three key points:

    1. The Calling of the Prophet is, in essence, the call of Allah Almighty. Though it was conveyed through the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Allah is the true source of the invitation to Paradise.

    2. Paradise is the abode of peace and security, free from any death, calamities, or hardships. It is a place where the believers will live forever in eternal peace.

    3. Guidance from Allah is specific. While Allah’s invitation is open to all people, His guidance is granted to a select few. The Straight Path refers to Islam, the direct path that leads to Paradise. It is the way to eternal success and peace.

    (10:25) (You are being lured by this ephemeral world) although Allah calls you to the abode of peace[32] and guides whomsoever He wills to a straightway.

    (10:25) (You are being lured by this ephemeral world) although Allah calls you to the abode of peace[32] and guides whomsoever He wills to a straightway.

    32. That is, Allah invites to the way that leads to the abode of peace in the Hereafter.

    “The abode of peace” here means Paradise, where there will be no fear whatsoever of any loss, calamity, sorrow, pain and trouble.

    (25) And Allāh invites to the Home of Peace [i.e., Paradise] and guides whom He wills to a straight path.
