"For them is the good news [176] in the present life and in the Hereafter [177]. There is no changing the words of Allah [178]. That is indeed the great success [179]." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
The believers who are mindful of their duty towards Allah receive glad tidings in both this world and the Hereafter. This good news refers to peace, contentment, and divine blessings that they experience in their lives, as well as the eternal reward of Paradise in the Hereafter.
The believers are assured of success and blessings in both this life and the Hereafter. In the present life, they experience peace and fulfillment through their faith, while in the Hereafter, they will be rewarded with eternal happiness in Paradise.
The verse stresses that Allah’s decrees are final and unchangeable. No one can alter the words or commands of Allah, affirming His absolute authority over all creation. This reinforces the certainty and permanence of divine will.
The great success is the ultimate reward of eternal salvation in Paradise, which is the goal for the believers. The verse emphasizes that the true success lies not in worldly achievements, but in securing Allah’s pleasure and eternal happiness in the Hereafter.
