Transliteration:( Allazeena aamanoo wa kaanoo yattaqoon )
"They are those who believe and are mindful of their duty [175]." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
This verse speaks of those who believe in Allah and are mindful of their duty towards Him. Some individuals attain sainthood after becoming pious, while others are born with sainthood and then grow in piety. The verse refers to the former, emphasizing that sainthood can be attained after a person’s spiritual growth and commitment to righteousness. For example, Hazrat Mariam was a saint from a young age, even before she became pious, as she was entrusted to Hazrat Zakariyah (Alaihis Salaam) at the age of four. Similarly, Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salaam), though not born with piety, was appointed as Allah's vicegerent on earth from birth, illustrating that sainthood and piety can have different paths.
