    📖 Commentary of Surah Yunus – Verse 80

    "Then when the magicians came, Musa said to them, 'Cast down whatever you are going to cast [215].'" (Kanzul Imaan Translation)

    ✅ [215] Hazrat Musa’s Challenge Against Magic

    Hazrat Musa (Alaihis Salaam) instructed the magicians to cast their spells in order to demonstrate the power of Allah and destroy the power of magic. This action was not an endorsement of magic, but rather a practical preaching against it. Hazrat Musa’s challenge served to reveal the falseness of magic and to show the superiority of divine miracles. It is similar to Allah's challenge to the disbelievers to produce a single Surah like the Qur'an, which no one can replicate, demonstrating the unmatched truth of His revelation.
