[200] Delivering the Message Without Selfish Motives

This verse highlights the selflessness of Hazrat Nuh (Alaihis Salaam) in delivering the message of Allah. He states that he does not seek any worldly reward from the disbelievers for his efforts. His reward lies solely with Allah. This underscores the importance of preaching with sincerity and without selfish desires, focused only on the pleasure of Allah.

[201] The True Meaning of Being a Muslim

The term Muslim here refers to one who submits entirely to the will of Allah. It can be understood both literally and technically. In a literal sense, Muslim means someone who surrenders to Allah’s will. While in a technical sense, it refers to followers of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). However, a Prophet is not a Muslim in the technical sense, as they are not followers of anyone but Allah. The verse also draws attention to the fact that Allah is not called a believer in the technical sense, even though He is the ultimate truth.
