📖 Commentary of Surah Yunus – Verse 30

"There, every soul will be tested for what it sent forth [90], and they shall be returned [91] to Allah, their True Master. And all their fabrications shall be lost from them [92]."

✅ [90] The Test of Deeds on the Day of Judgment

On the Day of Judgment, every soul will face the true consequences of their deeds. They will see the outcome of everything they have sent forth—whether good or evil. This test will reveal the true nature of their actions, and they will be confronted with the results of their choices, whether they lead to Paradise or Hell.

✅ [91] The Return to Allah for Reward and Punishment

The souls will be returned to Allah, their True Master, for the ultimate decision regarding their reward or punishment. Those who lived righteous lives and were mindful of their deeds will be rewarded, while those who rebelled and rejected Allah’s guidance will face punishment. This highlights the importance of self-reflection and accountability in this world, so that one can be prepared for the accountability on the Day of Judgment.

✅ [92] The Futility of False Worship

On that day, all the fabrications and false gods that people worshiped will be shown to be meaningless and of no benefit. The idols, false deities, and even the sun and moon—which were revered by some—will not save the worshipers. Instead, these objects will accompany the worshipers to Hell, where they will serve as a source of torment, illustrating the futility of placing trust in false idols. These fabrications will be exposed as powerless and will not provide any comfort or protection.
