"Surely Allah is not at all unjust [128] to mankind, but men do injustice to themselves [129]." (Kanzul Imaan Translation)
This verse affirms that Allah is never unjust to mankind. The reason for Prophethood and the Revelation was to provide guidance to humanity, to nurture both spiritual and physical well-being. Allah’s guidance is always available to mankind through His Prophets, who serve as spiritual nurturers. The verse highlights that Allah’s justice is always fair, and the path of guidance is made clear for those willing to follow it.
The verse clarifies that humans do injustice to themselves by engaging in infidelity and wrongdoing. When a person turns away from the guidance of Allah, they are causing harm to their own soul. This is considered a greater injustice than causing harm to others, as one’s soul and body have greater rights over a person than the rights of others. The verse highlights the self-inflicted harm that comes with rejecting faith, which ultimately leads to hellfire for those who persist in infidelity.

Please refer to Surah Yunus ayat 41 which provides the complete commentary from verse 41 through 44.
(10:44) Surely Allah does not wrong men; they rather wrong themselves.[52]
52. “Allah does not wrong mankind” because He gives them ears to hear, eyes to see and hearts to feel and ponder, and everything that is required to enable them to discriminate between right and wrong, truth and falsehood. But it is “But mankind wrong themselves” by refusing to make the right and proper use of their faculties and by following their lusts and enjoying the things of this world. Naturally this has made their eyes so blind and their ears so deaf and their hearts so dead that they are incapable of distinguishing between right and wrong, good and bad, for their conscience has also become dead.
